Customer Service Executive

Role and responsibilities

  • Telephone based customer service position
  • Taking inbound calls from customers with queries about, or looking to make changes to, their motor insurance
  • Outbound calls will also need to be made to customers to chase outstanding items required to complete their policy
  • Working within the customer service department you must have exceptional attention for detail and provide a service of the highest possible standard
  • The successful candidate must have a strong can-do mentality and be comfortable in a high pressure call centre environment
  • Working to deadlines you will also be required to liaise with our internal underwriters and our insurer partners to provide the best possible service to our customers
  • You will also be prepared to pitch in to assist in other areas and go the extra mile to see the business succeed.

Essential skills and experience

  • Experience with Open GI software (intermediate level)
  • Experience with Word and Excel (intermediate level)
  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with motor insurance
  • Telephone experience of outbound and inbound calls
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Team player with the ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business
  • Experience of working towards and achieving targets
